Persistence can be a troublesome thing. Sometimes people don't see the dangers of persistence. What is it does it look like when you persist beyond all evidence to the contrary? What is it called when you persist TOO far? ______ (adj): having or showing dogged determination not to change one's attitude or position on something, especially in spite of good arguments or reasons to do so. "a ______ refusal to learn from experience" One thing that I was taught growing up, that has been repeatedly reinforced, to a fault, is persistence.
